October 2025 Collection.
This new body of work brings together two enduring subjects of my practice—ballerinas and horses. Having spent part of my childhood in Texas, I’ve always felt a deep connection to these images, drawn both to their cultural resonance and to the irresistible technical challenge they present. The dancers embody grace and discipline, while the horses and cowboys evoke movement, power, and freedom. Painting them allows me to explore contrasts of strength and fragility, elegance and raw energy, while celebrating forms I have loved since childhood.
Western Art / Ballet
I was fortunate to spend part of my childhood in Texas, where the Western Culture left a lasting impression on me. The energy and grit of rodeo and cowboy culture fascinated me, and I embraced the challenge of capturing that world on canvas—its raw movement, strength, and timeless character.
Ballet and Western may seem very different yet they share many qualities. These paintings explore the elegance and intensity of dance, the delicate balance between control and freedom, grace and strength. One of the greatest joys of this work is finding ways to translate motion into stillness—using brushstrokes, light, and composition to convey rhythm and flow.
Together, these bodies of work reflect my fascination with movement in its many forms—whether on horseback in the arena or on stage under the lights.

Stamps
Stamps, with their miniature vignettes of culture and heritage, serve as portals to far-off lands. Through my paintings, I aim to capture the nostalgia and wanderlust evoked by these tiny treasures.
Doors symbolise transition and the promise of new beginnings. In this series, doors crop up a few times, inviting viewers to ponder the mysteries that lie beyond and the possibilities that await.
